These Terms & Conditions govern all purchases, orders and digital services made through VehicleDataSheet.com. By placing an order on our website, submitting a VIN, or using our services, you agree to the conditions outlined below.
1. Nature of the Service
VehicleDataSheet.com provides personalised Vehicle Data Sheets generated from the customer’s supplied VIN (Vehicle Identification Number). Each PDF report is custom-made for the specific VIN entered during checkout.
Each report is an independent informational product. It may include interpreted vehicle specifications, factory configuration data, technical codes, option information, equipment summaries, ownership notes, translated descriptions and editorial explanations.
Because this is a made-to-order digital product, traditional return rights for physical goods do not apply.
2. Independent Product and Manufacturer Disclaimer
VehicleDataSheet.com is an independent information service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, approved by or authorised by any vehicle manufacturer, importer, dealer network or brand owner.
All vehicle names, manufacturer names, model names, trademarks and related identifiers remain the property of their respective owners. Any reference to a manufacturer, brand, model or vehicle type is used only to identify the vehicle to which the report relates.
Our reports are not official manufacturer documents, certificates of conformity, homologation documents, service records, warranty documents or factory-issued certificates.
3. Accuracy of the VIN Provided
The customer is responsible for entering the correct VIN. We may be able to correct minor typographical errors after purchase, but we cannot guarantee correction in all cases.
If the VIN entered is incorrect and a report has already been generated, the order cannot be refunded.
The customer confirms that they are legally entitled to submit the VIN and request information relating to the vehicle concerned.
4. Use of Submitted VINs and Vehicle Information
By submitting a VIN or other vehicle-related information to VehicleDataSheet.com, the customer grants VehicleDataSheet.com a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, process, analyse, store, reproduce, transform, translate, reformat and incorporate the submitted VIN and associated vehicle information for the purpose of providing the ordered service.
This licence also allows VehicleDataSheet.com to use submitted VINs, generated reports and related vehicle data for internal archiving, customer support, quality control, product improvement, development of new products, testing, statistical analysis, training materials, demonstrations and sample reports. The full VIN number itself will never be intentionally displayed and/or published towards third parties.
Where customer-submitted VINs, generated reports or vehicle data are used for sample reports, demonstrations, training materials or marketing examples, VehicleDataSheet.com may modify, redact, anonymise, abbreviate or reformat the content. Customer names, email addresses, payment details, order information and other directly identifying customer information will not be intentionally displayed in public sample materials.
The customer acknowledges that a VIN may, in some circumstances, be linked to a vehicle or vehicle history. VehicleDataSheet.com will handle such information in accordance with its Privacy Policy where applicable.
5. Data Sources, Processing and Interpretation
Vehicle information may be compiled, interpreted and reformatted from one or more commercial, manufacturer-related, publicly available, technical, proprietary or internal data sources.
VehicleDataSheet.com may use automated systems, software tools and artificial intelligence to analyse, organise, translate, summarise, rewrite, classify and format vehicle information into a readable report.
Different data sources may contain different levels of detail. Certain factory options, market-specific configurations, production codes, equipment descriptions or technical records may be unavailable, incomplete, translated differently, outdated or omitted depending on vehicle age, manufacturer records, market region or available source data.
Technical codes, option codes and factory identifiers may indicate both the presence and absence of equipment. Some codes may relate to production differentiation, documentation, regional configuration or market setup rather than visible vehicle features.
6. No Refund Policy
All purchases on VehicleDataSheet.com are non-refundable.
This is because:
- Each report is custom-built for one unique VIN
- Processing may begin immediately after the order is placed
- The final PDF cannot be “returned” once generated or delivered
- A sample PDF or product preview may have been shown before purchase
- The product is a personalised digital information product
Refunds will not be provided if a customer expected more, different or additional information than what is available from the relevant vehicle data sources.
Refunds will also not be provided for incorrect VIN submission, incorrect language selection, customer misunderstanding of technical codes, absence of expected optional equipment, or differences between factory data and the vehicle’s current condition.
7. Delivery Format and Language
Your report is delivered electronically, usually as a PDF file, via email or download link in the language selected at checkout. Available languages may include:

Please note that the provided datasheet may include certain technical codes, identifiers, abbreviations or descriptive terms in German, English or another technical source language, regardless of the selected language. This is common for vehicle specification data and does not qualify as a reason for complaint or refund.
VehicleDataSheet.com is not responsible for incorrect language selection made by the customer during checkout.
8. Payment Processing
Payments are processed through the payment methods made available on the website, including third-party payment providers such as PayPal. We do not store or have access to your full credit card, banking or payment authentication details.
Orders are only processed once payment has been confirmed by the relevant payment provider.
VehicleDataSheet.com reserves the right to refuse, cancel or manually review orders where we reasonably suspect fraud, automated abuse, excessive submissions, unlawful use, payment irregularities or misuse of our service.
9. Intellectual Property
All Vehicle Data Sheets, layouts, descriptions, rewritten texts, report structures, graphics, visual presentation, summaries, categorisations and supporting materials are the intellectual property of VehicleDataSheet.com or its licensors, unless stated otherwise.
The customer receives a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the generated PDF for private or professional reference.
Redistribution, resale, republication, public uploading, mass reproduction, automated extraction, database creation, copying of the report structure, or commercial exploitation of the PDF or its contents is not permitted without prior written consent from VehicleDataSheet.com.
The customer may share the report with a relevant buyer, seller, garage, dealer, inspector, insurer or adviser for ordinary vehicle-related purposes, provided this is not done as a competing commercial service or mass distribution activity.
10. Accuracy, Completeness and Limitation of Liability
The information in each report is provided on a best-effort basis and is based on the available vehicle-related data linked to the submitted VIN. VehicleDataSheet.com does not guarantee that every report will contain every possible factory option, technical detail, historical record or market-specific item.
VehicleDataSheet.com is not responsible for:
- Missing, incomplete, outdated or inconsistent manufacturer or source records
- Modifications made to the vehicle after production
- Discrepancies between factory configuration and current equipment
- Errors caused by incorrect VIN submission
- Incorrect assumptions made by the customer based on technical codes
- Translation differences in technical descriptions
- Decisions made based on the report, including purchase, sale, repair, import, export, tax, insurance or valuation decisions
All vehicle data and specifications are provided as an informational aid only. Due to differences between data sources and manual data entry processes by various organisations, minor inaccuracies, omissions or variations may occur. Such variations are inherent to vehicle data systems and are considered normal within the automotive information industry.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific report giving rise to the claim.
11. Not Professional Advice
The report is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal, technical, mechanical, financial, tax, valuation, insurance, import, export or safety advice.
Customers should always verify important vehicle information with a qualified professional, authorised dealer, inspection service, registration authority, mechanic or relevant expert before making decisions based on the report.
12. Customer Responsibilities
By placing an order, the customer confirms that:
- The VIN provided is correct
- They are authorised to submit the VIN
- They understand the product is custom-made
- They reviewed the available product information and sample material before purchase
- They agree to the no-refund policy
- They will not misuse, copy, resell or distribute the generated PDF without permission
- They will not use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or automated purposes
13. Privacy Policy
Our processing of personal data, order information, email addresses, payment-related information, submitted VINs and generated report information is further described in our Privacy Policy.
In the event of a conflict between these Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy regarding the processing of personal data, the Privacy Policy will apply to that specific processing activity.
14. Changes to These Terms
VehicleDataSheet.com may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version published on the website at the time of purchase applies to that order, unless a change is required by law or necessary for security, fraud prevention or legal compliance.
